Temecula Assisted Living Community Offers Full Care for All

Highgate Senior Living is opening a Temecula assisted living community, and with it comes our full care for all philosophy.  Why is this so important to us?  Well, when we’re young, we’re busy. We’re active. We’re involved. We’re needed. We have friends and family members and employers and people who depend on us.  As we age, this can change. Trading in work for retirement, what we once used to define purposeful living shifts. Kids and grandkids have their own busy lives, friends pass away, and some endure the traumatic loss of a spouse. Feeling aimless, disconnected, or even lonely, it can be hard to feel a sense of purpose.

Whether you're 5 or 85, purpose, independence, and engaging relationships are the foundation of health and happiness. Temecula assisted living and memory care was designed to foster a purposeful life.  Since all of our residents are individuals, their care is, too. Our approach, full care for all, means each person receives as much care as they want and not more than they need. That requires finding out what makes someone “tick,” what makes them Mary or Bill. It goes beyond their medications and health conditions, and into what drives them to feel purposeful and as independent as possible.

Full care for all means that if Jack is able to button his shirt, we won't insist on helping him. But, if he forgets to take his blood pressure medication, we're there to support him so he doesn't miss a dose.  For couples, full care for all means that we address both of their needs. The caregiver’s needs don’t take a backseat to the person receiving care. With the support of our care team, couples can go back to enjoying their time together as couples.  Regardless of their abilities or health issues, we strive to give residents the highest level of independence possible. All of us are stronger, less prone to depression, and feel purposeful when we we have some level control over our lives.

Progression of care

As they age, residents may need a higher level of care. Our clinical professionals are ready to step in whenever they're needed and our structure allows for changes daily as to the care and services our residents wish to have. They handle everything from diabetic care and wound dressing to tube feeding and hospice services – and almost everything in between. Complex medical issues or severe cognitive impairment don't have to mean another move for your loved one.

No matter their stage of life, our mission is to devote ourselves to helping every Highgate resident live a life of purpose.  Highgate at Temecula offers assisted living and memory care conveniently located close to banking, shopping, churches, doctors, medical clinics and community events.
